The world has changed
But cultures take too long;
How can I live without you
My life without a song.

Empty and devoid of feeling
Except when I think of you;
My heart is breaking at the thought
Just what are we to do?

There is no explanation why
Together we have to become one;
As why are hearts have moved
We've tried but this can't be undone.

May God forgive us if it's not his will
But we're afraid that this is the way;
We're going to take it forward
