Today I want to acknowledge our friendship
That surpasses others by far;
I know that you're actually behind me
No matter wherever you are.
Trust like there is no other
Confidante straight and true;
You are my best friend you know
You must know that-surely you do!

If only all the world were friends
Sharing and caring like we should;
The things we could achieve
If only that we would.
There's plenty of everything to go around
But most of all the joy of peace would resound;
Many hands make light work they say
The projects for good would abound.
It is the only way for all of us
To help and not to hinder;
To think about the best for all
Or the world be like tinder.

A friend is worth so much more;
A friend beside you through thick and thin
A friend that loves you to the core.

What would life be with out friends like thee
I'll tell you, like no longer being free.
Imagine what life would be so sad and blue
To go through life without that special you.
And I know we live so far away
Through the internet we are like castaways
Never get to touch or hug you for this I only pray
For some day I hope we can meet
To hug and laugh and dance to the beat
I know this would be a treat
For now this is all I see
Is my good friend here with me
Just think what life would be
Without friends like thee

When you feel down.

And lend a hand.

Your secret dreams,
Because they care.
The best of friends,
Worth more than gold,
Give all the love,
A heart can hold.
