What can you do;

Enjoy the rest

The medicine is working
And it's Thank God for that;

I think it's more than that
Is there anything I can do?

Tablets and potions
Is that what you're on;
Then a good diet
Will help you get strong.

Homemade soups too
Fruit and veg are the best;
I know that you want
Chocolate when stressed

Now's not the time
You need to get better;
Fresh air is good
Put on your sweater.

And convalescing fast,
And here's a wish that your good health
Will last and last and last.

I heard that your immune system is down
But I'm sure you'll soon feel great;
The flu that's going around
Lasts a fortnight and then abates.
I wish you well!!

Just take it day by day

Friends are all around you
