I'm missing you more than words can say
I've no idea what to do;
How can I wait yet another month
Before I can kiss and hold you.

At sea, on land or in the air
it doesn't matter where you are;
I just want to be so close to you
It's got to be near not far.

It's only been a week or two
But it feels like forever;
I'm lost in grief and time
I'll feel again NEVER.

The pain of the missing
Is hurting like hell;
I wish I could forget
Can't explain can never tell.

Words just don't cover
There is no way to comprehend;
That this is now the reality
And we are now at an end.

Missing you at this great time
I wish I was by your side;
As you become a Grandma too
My age cannot be lied.

This makes me great grandma too
I like the great anyway;
So this is one heck of a time
I miss you-what can I say!

I hope you're enjoying college
The house is empty without you;
I miss you and I do promise
I won't moan any more-I do.

I've lost my dog he's my best friend you see
He's been by my side for years;
Now he's gone and all I can do
Is stand and shed some tears.

I miss his funny look
That he gave me before a walk;
As if to say"You lazy old thing
Oh if only I could talk"

We've been on many adventures
Our walks are beyond compare;
Up hill and down dale all over
Finding another-I haven't a prayer.
