May we come before you with grateful hearts
For all the love that you show;
Our surroundings remind us everyday
Of our blessings don't you know!
It's up to us to stay aware
Of all the love you show;
Not taking things for granted
As tomorrow only heaven knows.
So today we celebrate this special day
Thanking God from the deepest part of our heart;
Knowing that in his loving care
We shall never want nor part.

Thanksgiving
The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway
Thanksgiving comes again!

The
floods galore and earthquakes too
Have pounded the planets cover;
May we share and help and befriend
Those who have no other.

Thanksgiving Verses

The harvests and the cropsAre a blessing to us all;
We work the land to feed us
But God created it all.
We Thank Him for our daily bread
Our hearts are full of cheer;
I'm not sure from all the grain
Were we supposed to turn it into beer?
He leaves us to our own devices
This doesn't mean he doesn't care;
But we need to show respect fo him
Wreck his creation? We wouldn't dare?
So Thank You for the chance
To live a wonderful life;
Upon this earth of yours
Forgive us any strife.

This time of year when harvests in
All barns are filled to the roof;
We thank you for our blessings
Our actions will be our proof.
Let us share with those
Less fortunate than ourselves;
All around the world
Help to fill their empty shelves.
